Players you signed and you thought they were rubbish
But turned out to be a great signing.

For us it has to be Alan Navarro from MK Dons. He looked over weight and useless. But Come the 2nd half of last season he suddenly transformed into a cracking free transfer signing.Already praised by Steve Bruce in a recent friendly as the best player on the pitch who ran the show.
I couldn't understand why Dons fans liked him but now i do.He has also completed his first pre-season in two years. Thanks MK for a cracking player.

"Dave" was a cult terrace hero at the NHS. Always gave 110% and was disappointed to see him go. He got a fantastic welcome when he came back with Brighton last season and I remember seeing an interview in a newspaper somewhere (can't remember which one it was in, but I saved this little bit, where he stated "MK will always be a big part of my life and the football club and it's fans will always remain close to my heart, the reception that I got on Saturday at stadium.MK from the Dons fans brought a lump to my throat. I think they still like me !"

He joined from Macc after Ince arrived.

I believe he played at the NHS with Macclesfield. Gorilla had probably been drinking and got his teams mixed up.
